No longer do these printers have to become redundant when upgrading your host device technology, our connectivity products ensure that they are given a new lease of life.

OsNet LP Interface
Dual TCP/IP and OSLAN connectivity for ICL band printers

FunAsset's OsNet LP Interface consists of a small PC base unit that contains connectivity hardware and software to enable dual TCP/IP and OSLAN connectivity for ICL band printers and impact printers. As a result, an ICL band printer can be simultaneously connected to a traditional VME mainframe as well as a UNIX or Windows server without any changes having to be made to the host or source data.

In addition to the OsNet solution above, IDS use FunAsset's TN Interface hardware and software to provide a host device to band printer / impact printer connectivity solution. Not only does this increase the range of source devices that your band printers and impact printers can connect to but it can also be configured to enable multiple host devices, including your existing one, to be simultaneously connected.

With most of the EU now using the Euro, it has become paramount that organisations using band printers and impact printers are able to output this currency symbol. IDS use a TN Interface solution to convert a specific character within the data allowing the printer to output the Euro symbol.
