Support & Maintenance Contract

IDS provide a support and maintenance contract that will ensure that you are just one phone call, fax, email or web form away from getting almost any band printer, impact printer or line printer problem solved.

Our band printer, impact printer and line printer support and maintenance contract includes the following:

  • One routine maintenance call each year, for each supported printer.
  • Free replacement of all necessary printer parts to keep each supported item of equipment functioning in accordance with its published specification (subject to specific exceptions that are detailed within our agreement).
  • Four or eight hour response times.

Price

  • FP1500/FP2000/M304x - 4 hour response = £3500
  • FP1500/FP2000/M304x - 8 hour response = £2750

Hammer Module Remanufacture

If your printer hammer modules are worn or hollow, IDS are able to provide a fast and cost effective remanufacturing service.

Simply remove the hammer modules (instructions available upon request) that require servicing and ship them to the IDS offices. The hammer modules are then inspected, stripped, cleaned, reground, rebuilt and returned to you as good as new.

Supported printers include:

  • ICL FP1500 (Hitachi)
  • ICL FP2000 (Hitachi)
  • ICL LP2000 (132pp & 160pp) (Hitachi)
  • Fujitsu M304x (also refer to our hammer bank remanufacturing service detailed below)

Price

Hammer module remanufacture = £160 per module (minimum order of two modules).

Hammer Bank Remanufacture (Fujitsu M304x only)

If your Fujitsu M304x printer hammer banks are worn or hollow, IDS are able to provide a fast and cost effective remanufacturing service.

Simply remove the hammers banks (instructions available upon request) that require servicing and ship them to the IDS offices. The hammer banks are then inspected, stripped, cleaned, reground and rebuilt with new residual tapes and returned to you as good as new.

Fujitsu M304x Hammer Bank

Price

Hammer bank remanufacture for the Fujitsu M304x = £2000.
